Submission & Movement

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the e-mail to the editor.  Authors are advised to follow APA in preparing the manuscript before submission.

Movement

Being part of a movement in helping people understand conflict resolution can be the start of a better society and better future. This journal is free and accessible to the public. Your writing is a contribution to this cause. Small steps can lead to dramatic changes. We hope you will consider Journal of Conflict Resolution and Communication (JCRC) for your next article submission.

Review and Publication Process

A full double-blind refereeing process is used that comprises of the following steps.

  • Paper is sent to 2 reviewers for review.
  • The reviewers' recommendations determine whether a paper will be accepted, accepted subject to change, subject to resubmission with significant changes, or rejected.
  • For papers which require changes, the same reviewers will be used to ensure that the quality of the revised paper is acceptable.
  • If the paper is accepted by the reviewers, author(s) will be notified to pay the author fee.
  • Publication will be completed after the payment has been made.
  • Author/Corresponding Author will be notified about the possible date of publication
  • One hard copy of the published journal (Print) for each article will be sent to the author/corresponding author.

The review process takes a maximum of 10 weeks.

Copyright

Copyrights for articles published in JCRC are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author's responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.

Publication fee

If the paper is accepted for publication, author(s) will be asked to pay 200 USD as article publication fee in order to defray the operating costs of the open access journal. Unlike traditional journals that are for paid subscribers, this unconventional journal is open/free to the public in a movement to promote learning and understanding among people in the public who are interested in conflict resolution studies. Waiver policy is not applicable. First Author will be entitled to one free copy of the printed journal. Additional Authors can also get additional copies of the printed journal by paying 30 USD for each additional copy.
